ProbWind - Data-driven Probabilistic Design of Wind Turbines

The ProbWind project is funded by EUDP (Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program) in the Danish Energy Agency.

The objective of the ProbWind project is to develop and demonstrate the basis for reliability-based, probabilistic design of wind turbines, leading to the development of a new international standard on probabilistic design of wind turbines.

The new probabilistic design method for wind turbines will provide a reliable design at a reduced LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy).
